Once the lord Buddha was invited by Cula Subhadda, and was on the journey from Savatthi to Saketa with five hundred of his disciple monks.
By the superpowers of the Buddha, citizens of Saketa saw the inhabitants of Savittha, and citizens of Savatthi could see the inhabitants of Saketa. When he was in the centre of Saketa, by his divine powers, he made the people able to see the deepest hell Avici, and also made them able to see the brahma world. This is a quite general example just to give a vague idea of the kind of beliefs that prevail in the eastern countries and how these beliefs inspire people to make their lives better.
